U13 BOYS GROUP ROUND 1: BUFC V ST. JOHNS, KICK OFF 9.30 AM (St. Johns unable to field BUFC awarded the points)

After our lads working very hard in pre-season training we have a bit of a false start to the u13s seasons as our White Team Group C have been awarded all 3 points with their opponents in the opener unable to field a team for today's game. Aidan Kenny's boys who were rearing to go and will have to wait a little while longer for their first competitive game of the season. This game was due to kick off a 9.30am on BUFC Astro.

U13 BOYS GROUP B ROUND 1: BUFC V CARRICK TOWN. KICK OFF 11 AM BUFC ASTRO

Why not come along and give your vocal support to Aidan's U13s Boys in their Group B Match V Carrick Town which takes place at BUFC Astro with an 11am kick off. The Red team have a tough task facing a strong Carrick Town team at 11am. Manager Aidan Kenny has this to say coming into the game "The opposition were victorious when we met early last season and I assume will be coming to the BUFC Astro full of confidence but knowing the work our lads a have put in since that meeting and if they perform to their fullest today confidence could be a dangerous friend this morning" Dressing rooms are all set.

BUFC ACADEMY

Our Academy is back today from 1pm, with the first hour dedicated to any child aged u8 (4/5 year olds to 8) and the second hour for our U9s & U10s. The excitement is palpable.

U15 BOYS GROUP B ROUND 1: BUFC V ARROW HARPS KICK OFF 3.30 PM BUFC ASTRO

This will be closely followed by our U15s Boys Group B game V local rivals Arrow Harps and management team of Martin Toolan & Tommy Lavelle are looking forward to the challenge and have their squad well prepared for what is always a competitive game.

Martin Toolan says "Competition in this league will be tough with a number of last years A teams opting for B this year. Some of our players played u16 last week so have the cob webs well and truly shaken off, Jayden Gilgan who opened the scoring for the u16s last week and Daniel Toolan who landed a lovely free kick in the back of the net are two of the many Arrow will have to watch. These along with the great additions from our u14 squad give a nice blend to this team"

Good team attitude and a spirited performance is expected. There are some new signings also so a HUGE BUFC welcome to the new lads.

SLIGO PALLETS PREMIER LEAGUE ROUND 2: AUGHANAGH CELTIC V BUFC KICK OFF 11AM BALLINAFAD

Manager Kevin O' Hara will be hoping to build on last weeks impressive opening game win versus Valley Rovers by overcoming the annually stern challenge of the Aughanagh lads. Games have been tight between the two teams in recent years and both were unfortunate to relinquish the status in the Super League last season and will be eager to get back to the top table. Aughanagh away is always a tough challenge but Kevin has this group well prepared for the challenge.

TRIP TO THE AVIVA

Wishing our U14 squad a safe trip to the Aviva tomorrow for the Ireland v Holland game and a big thank you to Aidan Kenny for organising this trip which will live long in the memory for the boys.

Thank you all in advance for your support and if you are the other side of the white line and feel you could help out in anyway possible no matter what experience you have it is only a small step across that line that can make a huge difference in a child life.

CHILDREN DO NOT CARE HOW MUCH YOU KNOW UNTIL THEY KNOW HOW MUCH YOU CARE.
