In May the U-17's clinched the title with a 3-1 win over St. Edwards. Sadly our Senior team are relegated from the Super League to the Premier Division.

-1990: We became a force in the Super League and enjoyed success in the FAI Junior Cup. We beat Collegians in the Area Final of the FAI Junior Cup, we then played Palmerstown Rangers in Dublin on 28th January and won 2-0, Waterford Bohs ended our cup dreams in February 90 and we finished lowly in the league as our cup runs caught up with us.

-1991: We won the BOI Stephen Street Cup coming from 1 down to beat Bass Rovers in extra time. We lost the FAI Junior Cup to Collegians, 1-0. In the Super League we put ourselves in a position to win the league by beating Corinthians 1-0 at Ballisodare. In the final game of the season against already relegated Manor Rangers we could only manage a 1-1 draw and this lead to the three-way play-off between ourselves, Strand Celtic and Cortinthians. We lost our first play off game to Corinthians who went onto beat Strand Celtic to win the league. On 23rd June 1991 we beat Strand Celtic to take runner-up in the Super League.

-1992: WE FINALLY CAPTURE THE SUPER LEAGUE TITLE. On the first weekend in May we played the last two games of the season needing three points to clinch the title. First up on the Friday were local rivals Cloonamahon Celtic, when Johnny Kane clinched a late winner with an overhead kick after Cloonamahon had taken a shock lead. On the Sunday morning Ballisodare completely overwhelmed M.C.R, 5-1, to clinch the title in Sean Fallon Park. Strand Celtic denied the club the double by winning the Mc Sharry & Foley Cup on a scoreline of 4-1.

-1993: We were in three cup finals - the semi finals of the Connaught Junior Cup and Connaught Senior Cup and runners-up in the Super League. As representatives of the SL League we reached the final of the Michael Byrne Cup against Galway Hibs. After securing a 2-0 lead we eventually went under 4-2 to a very strong Hibs side. We beat Calry Bohs in the McSharry & Foley Cup 1-0. As reigning Super League champions we qualified for the Connaught Senior Cup where we were beaten 4-0 by Mervue in the semi finals. We lost 2-0 in Ballisodare to Galway Bohs in the Connaught Junior Cup.

-1994: We were unfortunate due to all our cup commitments to finish runner-up to Calry Bohs. Our exploits in the FAI Junior Cup were to become part of the club's folklore. We began by winning the SL Area Final by beating Meadowbank 2-0 in McSharry Park. In the next round we drew Rivermount from the A.U.L in Dublin. This match turned out to be an epic encounter and was fittingly won by a superb 30-yard strike from Gerry Dooner which sealed a famous 3-2 victory. We unfortunately lost 1-0  to Kinvara Boys in the quarter finals in Clonskeagh, Dublin.

-1994: The Senior side finished mid table. Mick Savage returns to the club. We won the Bank of Ireland (Stephen Street) Cup Final beating Arrow Harps 2-1 in the final.

-1999: A new managment team of Jim Browne & John Healy could not prevent us from being relegated from the Super League. We lost the final of the McSharry & Foley 1-0 to Calry Bohs. We had a mammoth struggle with Crescent United and after postponements and games abandoned we eventually lost 1-0 in Ballisodare. This season we had youth teams at U-12, U-14 and U-18.

-2000: OUR SILVER JUBILEE: We achieved promotion back to the Super League by finishing runners-up to Chaffpool Rovers. Ex-patriots Anthony Fallon & Thomas Egan, return from Australia & Noel Meenaghan from Scotland. Along with the return of Karl Hannon form St. John's where he won a Connaught Youth Cup medal and the signing of David Henry from Calry Celtic, the players added extra steel to our push for promotion. Damien Fallon started the season with Sligo Rovers Reserves and had a cup final appearance versus Mervue from Galway. The Reserves disbanded and he returned to the club. St. Mary's College won their first Connaught trophy for fifteen years when the beat Ballygar, Roscommon with Leigh Cavanagh and John Savage in the team. Niall Hodgins represents club at U-12 SL Youth Level.
