Our u9s Academy made the journey to Grange on Sunday morning to play their first ever blitz and what an occasion it was under the majestic shadow of Benbulben.

We had 16 of our squad attend the event which was superbly organised by Benbulben FC.

Playing 5/6 a side our lads played some very entertaining free flowing football which was a joy to watch and showed great team work to go with the abundance of skill that was on show. We are surprised some of the goals did not end up on Match of the Day 2.

Noah Casey from our u10's and Paul Finnerty helped out on the management side of things and were a great influence on our academy starlets.

We look forward to more blitzes in the coming weeks and would like to give a big thank you to all the parents and guardians who attended and made sure the lads were there in plenty of time.
