U12 Conn Shield Girls : BUFC U12 Girls v Dromohair FC, Dromohair Astro (AWAY) (WIN)

Another a good win for the girls in Dromahair this morning.

Our full squad got a good run out and great to see everyone is progressing well this season and have great flexibility to play in different positions when called upon.

Scorers: Blaithin O'Meara ⚽⚽⚽⚽, Sophie Henry 5 ⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽, Tara Morris 4 ⚽⚽⚽⚽, Kristina ⚽⚽ and Ella Venter ⚽ with her first goal for u-12s.

SFAI Subway Boys u 16 Trophy: BUFC U16 Boys 1-2 Killoe FC, (LONGFORD) (AWAY) (LOSS)

Under 16s travelled to Longford today to play Killoe Celtic in the Sfai trophy.

From the start we lacked intensity and found ourselves two down after 15 minutes.

We pulled one back through a Jayden Gilgan penalty which he won himself with a great run into the box.

We didn't create a whole lot more which was very disappointing as we felt the game was here for the taking.

Hopefully lessons learned from today and we go again on Wednesday evening at home in a top of the table battle against Ballymote Celtic in the league with a 8.30pm kick off.

Boys u 14 GRPA: BUFC U14 Boys 2-0 Carrick Town FC, Cleveragh Astro (AWAY) (WIN)

A fantastic win for our u14s today against a very good Carrick Town team.

We took the lead early on through a glancing header by Daniel Connolly ⚽ from a Ryan Maloney corner.

Shortly after that with 15 minutes gone we had a player see red for a miss timed challenge.

What happened after that was unreal every single one of the lads stood up and showed why they put the work in at training.

They battled for everything and before half time we got a 2nd through a Ryan Maloney ⚽ free kick.

The second half was much of the same with our lads continuing to hold Carrick to long shoots but still managing to create good chances ourselves.

What makes the win better then winning with 10 men for most of the game was the fact that Carrick team bet us 5 nil last season.

Squad today: Philip McManus, Ethan Collery, Dylan Feeney, Leon Egan, Evan Clarke, Callum Kenny, Ryan Maloney ⚽, Adam Finn, Conor Keenan, Ben Lynch, Daniel Connolly⚽, Orrin Mahon, Sean Kelly and Ben Kelly.

SFAI Subway Boys u 12 Cup Last 64: BUFC U12 Reds Boys 2-1 Knocknacarra, (GALWAY) Micheal Mc Gowan Park, Enniscrone (HOME) (WIN)

This team has all, character, fight, passion, skill and heart.

Knocknacarra are a serious outfit and went 1 down after 20 mins..

An outstanding top bins save from our keeper Ryan Fallon seemed to turn the tide in our favor and this along with quality tackling and defending from our back 3.

We got at Knockacarra down the wings and knew a goal was coming.

Half time down 1-0.

Half time we regrouped and stuck in and got our reward with an equaliser from Oran Hynes.

Ffull time 1-1.

Extra time it is. Our fitness is starting to show as we got at them and just rewards with a unbelievable corner in and met by Caolon Feeney on the head...bang goal 2-1 up.

We have now qualified for the last 32 in the SFAI Cup.

The squad performance and attitude, take a bow lads...well done all of you.

Sligo Pallets Premier League: BUFC Senior Mens 4-3 Valley Rovers, Astro Ballisodare (HOME) (WIN)

If the first 75 minutes between Ballisodare United and Valley Rovers was somewhat flat, the remainder of the game produced all the drama with 7 goals.

Valley Rovers opened the scoring in the 76th minute when George Wall capitalised on a defensive error to tap in. Ballisodare's Niall O'Donnell equalised with a fine free kick in the 82nd minute, 1-1.

Valley went 2-1 up in the 86th minute when Jack Ozdobinski was sharpest in the box to nod home.

The Valley lead was once again short-lived as Ballisodare sub Derek Lynch buried an equaliser in the 87th minute, 2-2.

Incredibly Valley once again took the lead when Jake Tobin finished well, 3-2 to Valley after 89 mins.

With time running out Ballisodare got what looked like a share of the spoils when Stephen Fallon headed home in the 92nd minute, 3-3.

Amazingly, there was one last twist in this encounter in the 94th minute. Ballisodare's young defender Michael Currid took the gamble to get in at the back post for a cross and he fired home the winner for the BUFC.

The U18 player Currid proved to be the hero for Ballisodare who ran out 4-3 winners.

Valley Rovers will be disappointed but also proud of their display on the night. The 3 points and dramatic finish the highlight for BUFC.

Ballisodare United team: Gavin Phelan, Michael Currid, Kevin O'Hara, Finn O'Hara, Pat Stokes, Keith Cotter, Niall Hahessy, Stephen Fallon, Paul Scanlon, Adam Grace, Shane Kerr. Subs used: Luke Middleton, Derek Lynch and Niall O'Donnell.

BOYS U 11 PREMIERSHIP: BUFC U11 Boys 2-1 Benbulben FC, Cleveragh Astro, (NEUTRAL) (WIN)

Another great day for the under 11 White Team who had a magnificent 2-1 win over Benbulben .

This was achieved despite being only have 6 players available for the duration of game .

All players showed unbelievable commitment and gave every ounce of energy to deliver the victory.

Despite being a man down they were the better side for the entire game, and never let their heads drop despite going a goal down in the 1st half.

Goals either side of the half time break from Kai Nicholson ⚽ and Kai Kelly ⚽ ensured the victory, but all 6 players were heroes. Could not be more proud of the lads. 4 wins from 4 so far for the teams, and we go again next week with the Reds
