GIRLS U 12 GRPA - BUFC U12 Girls 1-2 Yeats United - Astro Pitch Ballisodare - (HOME) (LOSS)

U-12 girls lost 2-1 this morning. We didn't start playing till we were 2-0 down and that's what ultimately cost us.

We pulled a goal back through Sophie with a long range strike and had a few half chances but it wasn't to be. The better team won on the day. We just never got going until it was to0 late.

The girls will play their final league game against Carrick Town.

Boys u13 GRPC - BUFC U13 Boys V Abbey United - Sean Fallon Park (AWAY) (WIN)

Our u13 White team had a convincing win vs Abbey United today captained by Diarmuid Rooney.

Our goalscorers today were Conor Fallon ⚽⚽⚽, Tessa Dooney⚽⚽, Diarmuid Rooney (capt)⚽⚽, Óran Hynes⚽⚽ and GK Ryan Fallon ⚽ who played outfield in the second half slotted home a penalty.

We finished the game off with a penalty shoot out between both squads which Abbey won 7-6.

A great mornings football and both teams left smiling!

Sligo Leitrim and District League Pallets Premier League 23/24 - BUFC BUFC Senior Men's 3-4 Merville United - Merville, Maugheraboy (AWAY) (LOSS)

Merville Played Ballisodare in a top of the table clash that produced a seven goal spectacle.

Ben Sherlock stepping up from the U17 League put Ballisodare ahead after 18 Minutes.

With five minutes remaining in the first half Tyler Stallard equalised for Merville levelling matters at half time.

More of the same came in the second half with both sides going at each other.

Brian Mahon put Ballisodare in front again on the 53 rd Minute a lead that lasted ten minutes when former Ballisodare United player Conor White equalised for Merville.

Keith Cotter came on as a substitute and within ten minutes put Ballisodare ahead for the third time in this game.

Again it was a short lived when four minutes later Merville were awarded a penalty which Stallard Converted Comfortably.

The day belonged to Tyler Stallard who completed his hat trick and what to proved to be the winner in a very close contest between both sides.
