Our youngest ever u11 girls side came from a goal down to comfortably beat Manor rangers this morning.

Because of Sligo Leitrim and Confirmation we had the bare 7 players.

5 out of the 7 girls are u11 again next year.

Scorers on the day were Ella, Jessica 2 each and big high 5 to Gloria Healion & Gracie Hunter who scored their first ever goals for Ballisadare today.

The decision was made by the league to have 3rd in Premier League (Ballisodare United FC) play 3rd from bottom in the Super League in a one-off game.

BOYS U 11 La Liga - BUFC U11 Boys V KEUFC - League - Cleveragh Astro  | (NEUTRAL) (WIN)

The under 11s Red team finished off their league season with a 7-1 victory over Enniscrone yesterday.

Both teams agreed to play 8 a side, meaning time on the ball was at a premium.

It took the Reds a while to adapt but we managed to get in 2-1 ahead at the interval with goals from Conor Crossan and Lincoln Barlow

A much improved 2nd half showing saw further goals from Conor, Lincoln,  Conor Hughes and Jamie Nicholson, finishing the season off on a great note.

It's been a great season for the both the Red and White teams, and the improvements of all players technically,  thanks to regular games, and plenty of game time for all, is clear for all to see . Roll on next year

Glasshouse Cup - BUFC Senior Mens 2-0 Ballygawley Celtic - Cup - Astro Pitch Ballisodare | (HOME) (WIN)

Ballisodare United entertained neighbours Ballygawley Celtic on Thursday night in Ballisodare Astro Facility with Mark Irwin the man in the middle.

The game took off with both sides looking to gain the upper hand by both setting a fast tempo of play.

After a couple of close calls Ballisodare took the lead when a Paul Scanlon corner kick went directly into the top corner.

Ballisodare tried to grab a second but hit the woodwork and Ballygawley defended their goalmouth with everything they had.

Midway through the second half the home side were given the opportunity to double their lead when awarded a spot kick for a handball.

Marksman Darragh Healy stepped up to send Kyle Davey the wrong way, 2-0.

Neither side created much after that and the game ended 2-0 who now go into the semi final draw.

BOYS U 14 GRPA - BUFC U14 Boys V Strand Celtic - League - Strandhill - (AWAY) (LOSS)

Unfortunately it was a loss for the u14s in their last league game of the season.

Saying that the score line did not represent the game with both sides evenly matched throughout but Strand converted the chances they got.

With alot of our u14s absent today we had to call on our u13s Max Verdon, Charlie Nicholson, Ethan Stoodley and Bobby Sweeney with all 4 of them playing brilliantly.

All 14 of our players put in a great shift and although down by 5 goals they never stopped working until the final whistle.

Daniel Connolly ⚽⚽ got both our goals today, with Bobby, Ethan S, Adam, Ben K and Conor all going close.

Our squad today was

Philip McManus, Sean Kelly, Max Verdon, Charlie Nicholson, Ethan Collery, Callum Kenny, Adam Finn, Lee Melly, Ben Kelly, Conor Keenan, Daniel Connolly, Ethan Stoodley & Bobby Sweeney

GIRLS U15 SHIELD BUFC U15 Girls V Manor Rangers - Cup - Dromahair Astro (NEUTRAL) (LOSS)

So the curtain came down on the u15 Girls season with a 6 nil loss in the Shield Semi Final to a Manor team that should be competing in the cup.

What a brave, courageous, never give up attitude these girls have and an absolute credit to this club, their families and the community.

One of the most enjoyable seasons I've had in 15 years of management despite the results and kind of puts things into perspective.

These girls are a resounding success story for this club πŸ”΄βšͺπŸ’ͺand the years to come will prove just how much.

Thanks to Aisling and Clare and everyone that helped out this season.

Defeat has never tasted so sweet!!

Parents give yourselves a big pat on the back for rearing such Legends.

BOYS U 13 GRPC CUP FINAL BUFC U13 Boys 3-1 Dromore Villa | Cup Templeboy (AWAY) (WIN)

The u13 white team capped off a great season by winning the Group C Cup this morning in glorious sunshine in Templeboy.

Kyron Gethins ⚽ opened the scoring on 11’ beating the keeper superbly one on one.

Dromore equalised on 25’ through a free kick. It was a tight and tense match throughout.

Ryan Fallon made a couple of vital saves and we were unlucky not to score a couple at the other end.

The breakthrough came 10’ from time when Oran Hynes ⚽ finished a mazy run after a brilliant through ball from Conor Fallon.

The win was sealed just before full time when Oran Hynes ⚽ scored a fine free kick for his second.

Great celebrations followed as captain Dylan Hughes lifted the cup! πŸ†.

There were excellent performances from all the squad today, Conor Cuskelly was immense at centre back as he filled in for Mark Drury who was out through illness.

Naoise Lang, Teddy Healion, Nathaniel Moderski, Adrian Scanlon and Cian Harvey were all brilliant in defence.

Tommy Walsh, Dylan Hughes, Ryan Munnelly, Harry Mooney and Oran Hynes all worked tirelessly in midfield.

Tessa Dooney was outstanding on the right wing.
