Ballisodare United FC Senior Ladies play Kilglass Enniscrone United in the Sligo Bay Lobsters Women's Amateur Shield Final tomorrow Sat 1st March in MacSharry Park at 2pm.

A great team performance against Calry secured their place in the Shield Final. On a night when Calry never gave up and fought to the end, BUFC came out on top with the scoreline 7-1. Goalscorers were Heather Cotter who got 5 goals with Ciara Horan and Audrey Dinan each scoring once. The performance was of a high standard with Kate Fallon & Lauren Maye impressing.

All the attention shifts to MacSharry Park tomorrow as the side hope to win silverware for the season. They’ll face a strong Kilglass Enniscrone United who beat BUFC in the league by a scoreline of 4-2 back in November. However, BUFC have back-to-back wins in the Shield and it promises to be a close battle tomorrow.
