Best wishes from all at the Club to Euan Finnegan who plays for Ireland in Denmark this weekend at the CP European clubs tournament. What a great achievement for this young warrior, always got a smile on his face and has the best attitude and is a credit to his family, the club and the wider community.

Sligo Rovers defender and former BUFC player Kya McKenna has been named in the Republic of Ireland Under 16 squad for two international friendly games against Faroe Islands. This is some achievement for Kya and her parents, Neal & Charlene Mc Kenna, both former coaches at BUFC, and is all down to the hard work and dedication put in by Kya on and off the field. Proud moment also for BUFC coach Mark Jackson who coached Kya up through the age groups at both BUFC & Emerging Talent. Kya has always been a credit to the club.

Well done Killian Barrett on signing for the 1st Team at Hartley Wintney FC, members of the Pitching in Isthmian Football League South Central Division. Killian was home for a few weeks over the summer and you can certainly see what a great keeper he is turning out to be, again a credit to his parents, the club and all the coaches who have been involved in his development. After several seasons with Sligo Rovers u15-u19s, Joshua Mulrennan, son of Senior Ladies player, Selina Mulrennan, made the move to Spain for a year with the impressive academy at CD Almunecar City, part of FC Malaga City. he has now made the move across the big pond to Tyler Junior College, Texas to play College football and gain further education in this highly reputable college.
